Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing with magnetic fluid seal that is excellent in handleability, facilitates injection work of a magnetic fluid, and prevents rotational performance of a rotational shaft from deteriorating in a state of supporting the rotational shaft.SOLUTION: A bearing 1 with magnetic fluid seal includes: an inner ring 3; an outer ring 5 including an elongation cylindrical part 5a protruding from an exposure end surface 3a of the inner ring to a shaft direction; a plurality of rolling bodies 7 interposed between the inner ring 3 and the outer ring 5; a holding plate 21 fixed to the inner surface of the elongation cylindrical part 5a of the outer ring 5 and holding a magnet 25 so as to generate a magnetic region between the itself and the exposure end surface 3a of the inner ring 3; and a magnetic fluid 27 held between the magnetic region of the holding plate 21 and the exposure end surface 3a of the inner ring 3.
