Abstract:
To prevent generation of the oil cavitation as much as possible even when the moving speed of a piston rod is high in a bearing to support the position rod of a shock absorber.
An inner circumferential surface at an end part from an end to a bearing surface A of a piston rod 15 out of an circumferential surface of a bearing 19 is formed of a plurality of inclined surface B1-B3 so that the angle formed relative to the axis C is gradually reduced from the end to the bearing surface A. As the piston rod 15 is moved, the oil enters the bearing 19, but the oil cavitation can be prevented as much as possible because no abrupt change in shape is present in an oil passage to the bearing surface A.
