Abstract:

To provide a bed apparatus allowing use of parts of a fixed bed, when a fixed bed apparatus is converted into a back raised bed apparatus.

The bed device includes first and second side members 41 and 42 for up-and-down movements both ends of which are pivotally attached to first and second arms 31 and 32 for up-and-down movements of an up-and-down driving mechanism 27 provided for a base frame 25, attachments 44 each of which keeps one end coupled and fixed to both ends in the longitudinal direction of the first and second side members 41 and 42 for up-and-down movements, first and second side members 2 which are coupled and fixed to ends on one side of a pair of attachments whose other ends are coupled and fixed to both ends of the first and second side members 41 and 42 for up-and-down movements, a floor board body which bridges the first and second side members 2 with their ends in the width direction being detachably engaged in them, a head board 3 which is fitted to attachments of ends on one side in the longitudinal direction of the first and second side members 41 and 42 for up-and-down movements and a foot board 4 which is fitted to attachments of ends on the other side and a back raising driving mechanism 51 which is detachably held by the pair of side members for up-and-down movements, folds a part of the floor board body and raises it.
