To provide a novel air massage device capable of solving such a problem of a mattress of a bed device wherein a user feels uncomfortable with odor components adhering to the mattress in using the mattress for a long period of time by deodorizing the mattress and expanding/contracting airbags by an air ventilation device when spreading an air-massage mat having a plurality of airbags on the mattress.

The bed device has the air ventilation device, also serving as the air massage device, incorporated inside the mattress for bed for intaking/discharging air in the space inside the mattress. The air ventilation device comprises an air compression part for compressing air sucked from the space inside the mattress, and an air pathway for feeding the air, compressed in the air compression part, to the space inside the mattress from an air feeding part via a silencer. The silencer stores a high-voltage charge electrode for electrochemically decomposing the odor components by means of the plasma discharge.
