PURPOSE: To improve installing performance, and facilitate horizontal taking-out when a machine is installed by insertingly casting a reference piece member being an installing seat part of a bed to an installing floor surface in an lower bottom surface part of a cast iron bed main body in the shape of being exposed to the lower bottom surface side.
CONSTITUTION: In an lower bottom surface part 35 of a bed main body 35, as a reference piece member being an installing seat part of a bed to an installing floor surface, a steel ball 51 whose surface is finished by lapping is insertingly casted in the bed main body 23 in respective positions of both left and right side positions of a lower connecting side part 31 and a position corresponding to a central part of a work table installing part, that is, in three places. In an insertingly casting of the steel ball 51, an almost upper half of the steel ball 51 is insertingly casted in an lower bottom surface part of the bed main body 23, and a lower half is performed in the shape of being exposed outside. Therefore, installation of the bed and finishing work of the bed main body 23 can be performed by using an exposed surface of this steel ball 51 to a bed lower bottom surface as an absolute reference position.
