Title:
BED MAT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1189889
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed mat which enables a sick person to spend time comfortably as air flow passages are formed on the bed mat even if the front surface of the bed mat is covered with a water impermeable synthetic resin film. SOLUTION: The bed mat is constituted by affixing the water impermeable synthetic resin film 2 formed with wrinkles 2' on its front surface on the front surface of a mat material 1 produced from rubber, urethane foam, etc. As a result, clearances 4 are generated between the human body 3 and the synthetic resin film by the ruggedness on the front surface formed by the wrinkles of the synthetic resin film. Since air flows in these clearances, the moisture generated on the bed mat is removed and, therefore, the proliferation of bacteria, etc., is suppressed and the sick person is kept free of moistening. The finest environment offering the good comfortability to lie down is thus created.
