To provide a bed for nursing a sick person at a low cost for enabling even a weak nursing person to perform nursing jobs such as hot water bathing and the like to the sick person on the bed while keeping a lying posture without wetting bedding.
This bed is provided with an auxiliary bed frame 3 in a U shape capable of clamping both sides of the bed on which the sick person lies down at all times and taking it in and out to the front and back. A waterproof bathtub cloth is spread on the side plate 4 and the sick person is moved onto it. By pulling bathtub strings in small holes provided on the four corners of the bathtub cloth, a bathtub is formed in the state of placing the sick person inside. The sick person is moved by half-rotating. For water discharge after the hot water bathing, the water is discharged through holes opened on the bathtub cloth and the side plate into a water discharge box 13 at a lower part. A water discharge valve metal fitting is tentatively inserted to the holes and a valve plate attached to it is detached. Thus, being different from a conventional method by a mechanical device, it is safe and even the weak nursing person like an aged person can easily perform the hot water bathing.
