PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly determine risk of falling from a bed of an observed person.SOLUTION: A bed observation system comprises: a three-dimensional shape measurement part for, measuring a three-dimensional shape for generating three-dimensional shape data, on an upper space and a surrounding space of a bed where an observed person sleeps; an analysis processing part for, based on the three-dimensional shape data, recognizing a human body of the observed person; and a protrusion determination part for measuring time in which a first body part of the human body is included in the bed upper space, and a second body part of the human body is included in the bed surrounding space together, and when the measured time exceeds predetermined time, determining that the human body protrudes from the bed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
