Abstract:

The invention provides a bed side handrail; an arm angle is easy to adjust; the arm after angle adjustment can be reliably fixed, thus preventing accidental fixation release; a lock release lever (5) swings about the shaft (51) between the rotation inhibiting position (upper position) inhibiting the rotation of the arm and the rotation permission position (lower position) allowing the rotation of the arm; in addition, an arm side locking part (7) can rotate with the arm; a main body side locking part (6) is clamped on the arm side locking part (7) and fixed on the side handrail body; a safety locking member (4) is movable between the first position (lower end position) and the second position (the upper portion where the convex portions (43, 54) do not contact each other); the convex portion (43, 54) can mutually contact in the first position so as to prevent the lock release lever (5) from swinging to the rotation permission position; the convex portion (43, 54) with no mutually contact in the second position can allow the lock release lever (5) to swing to the rotation permission position.
