To provide a bed system which improves efficiency of caring and reduces a burden on a caring person.SOLUTION: A bed system 1 comprises: a bed 10 comprising a vertically movable bed plate 13; an infrared sensor 20 which detects a matter located on a lateral side of the bed 10; and a server 40 to which ID information of a caring person C can be input.
