This bed includes a movable gate-shaped table 6 which comprises guide wires 1 attached to the outsides of the side skeletal members C, D of a bed frame F, a pair of table front and rear end legs 3a, 3b erected on table lower-end members 3 loosely fitted into the guide wires 1, a horizontal shaft 4 interconnecting the upper ends of the rear end legs 3b, and a pivotally attached top plate 5 whose rear end is pivotally supported by the horizontal shaft 4 and whose front end can be placed on the upper end of each table front-end leg 3a.
