PURPOSE: To accomplish a reasonable layout with a roomier living space without causing interference with personal movement lines by employing a head board extending beyond right and left side edges of a bed and curved in relative to the bed.

CONSTITUTION: A living space of a one room structure comprises a dining space 1, a bed space 2, a powder space 3, and a bathroom 4. A bed 5 is provided on its head side with a head board 6 with its inner and outer sides having ornamental surfaces. The head board 6 has a curvature so as to surround the head side of the bed from the center 61 to the right and left side portions 62, 62 extending beyond the side edges of the bed 5. The dining space 1 is widened by the amount corresponding to the recess due to the curvature of the side portions 62, 62. The spaces produced by the curvature of the side portions may be utilized for creating a kind of corner-utilization structure where a pot of foliage plant 7, small tables, stools, etc., may be placed. Thus effect of securing spaciousness of the dining space 1 is accomplished.
