To provide a bed allowing inversion of a bed without turning a right/ left position of the whole bed to impart a degree of freedom to a layout.

This bed has a seat cushion 12 disposed on a base 11, functioning as the bed; and a support means 19 supporting the seat cushion 12 such that an angle of the seat cushion 12 is changeable. The support means 19 has first and second link mechanisms 34, 35 and a joint mechanism 30 whose angle is changeable, and a support frame 33 positioned between the respective mechanisms 30, 34, 35 and the base 11. The support frame 33 is detachably provided on a receiving table 37 which is provided on the inner face side of a front board 16 and a rear board 17 of the base 11, and the right/left position can be turned without changing a position of the base 11.
