Abstract:
To provide a bed in which a position or an angle of the base plate can be easily changed by lightening the weight of the base plate without lowering required rigidity.
This bed 10 is constituted of a base plate 11 on which bedding is spread and a support body 12 to support the base plate 11. The base plate 11 is equipped enabled to change an angle against the support body 12 in the bed 10. The base plate 11 is formed by a plate material 14 made by heat- pressing a laminated body of fiber or wood elements adhered with a binder. Hollow parts 17 are formed in the base plate 11.
