To provide a bed on which massage can be carried out comfortably in an easy posture, by which a living space can be used widely, and where an elderly person etc. can be cared easily.

The bed is provided wit a bedding receiving frame for placing bedding, and a bed frame supporting the bedding receiving frame. At a front part to which the head of a lying person is directed of the bedding receiving frame, an inversion part which can be inverted upside down around a center line in a front and rear direction is provided. On either of the upper and lower sides of the inversion part, a massaging device capable of pressing and massaging the lying person is provided, and the other of the upper and lower sides is designated to be a reception part for receiving the back of the lying person. Furthermore, a holding means for holding the inversion part in respective inverted states is provided.
