To provide a bed of simple structure excellent in functionality which allows defecation on the spot.

The bed includes a back part rest 61, a seat part rest 62, lower thigh part rest 63, and is converted into a chair shape. The seat part rest 62 includes a defecation port 62A corresponding to a thigh part of a user and a slide cover 10 for opening/closing the defecation port. The slide cover 10 is movable between an initial position which closes the defecation port 62A along a surface in parallel to the surface of the seat part rest 62 when the back part rest 61 stands up and an evacuation position which releases the defecation port 62A. Also, the slide cover 10 links a cover open/close driving part 53 for moving the slide cover 10 reciprocally between the initial position and the evacuation position. On both sides of the defecation cover 62A, a seat part 11 floatable up to a position where the surface height is higher than the slide cover 10 is provided. Before the slide cover 10 is moved, the seat part 11 is pushed up by a seat part lift driving part 52, and a buttocks part of the user is also pushed up together with the seat part 11.
