PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed which does not require a large space when set in a hospital or the like, and wherein the states of the bed and a bench can easily be switched without spoiling the using state.
SOLUTION: This bed is equipped with a hollow body-shape external case 1, at the upper section of which, a fixing cushion element 3 is provided, and an internal case 2, which can be relatively taken out from/put in the hollow section 1a of the external case 1. Then, for the internal case 2, the bed surface is formed by arranging a movable cushion element 4, which continues from the fixing cushion element 3 of the external case 1 in a manner to be approx. flush with the fixing cushion element 3, at the upper section and at a pulled out location P. Then, the bed is constituted in such a manner that the movable cushion element 4 is dismounted to a location, wherein the movable cushion element 4 is not interfering with the external case 1, at the insertion location, so that the external case 1 can be used as a bench. Then, in this case, the external case 1 is set through an adjuster 5 in a manner to be nonmovable on a floor F. Then, the internal case 2 is set through a caster 6 in a manner to be movable on the floor F. At the same time, the internal case 2 is held at a pulled out location Q by using the movable cushion element 4.
