PURPOSE: To make an opening area of a suction port and suction force to be worked on bedclothes variable by placing a closed cover body in which at least one end side of the suction port can be opened and closed freely by the prescribed length.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of cleaning the bedding and a blanket, usually it is executed by positioning a control 23 in the front end. In such a case, a suction port 15 communicates with a suction opening A 21 and the same B 22 and cleaning of full width of a bedclothes suction tool 11 can be executed. When it is desired to clean by stronger suction force than this state, it is executed by positioning the control 23 in the rear end, closing the communication of the suction opening A 21 and the suction port 15, and concentrating suction force into the suction port 15 part opposed to the suction opening B 22. In such a case, suction pressure increases in inverse proportion to an area on which suction force works, and strong suction force is obtained. Also, at the time of cleaning an edge part of the bedding, when it is executed by positioning the control 23 in the rear end, a suction air leakage fro the end part of the suction port 15 does not occur, and a stable suction state is obtained even if the tool 11 protrudes from an edge of the bedding.
