Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain trafficability reflecting the will of a driver even when turning behavior is intentionally operated by the driver by adding limit to the process by an output restraining means so as to restrain a fall of engine output, when a subtransmission means is selected on the low speed side.
SOLUTION: Whether a subtransmission is selected to be on a shift step on the low speed side or not is judged, when it is selected on the low speed side, the threshold value Vth of vehicle speed V is set to be VH on the high speed side (S202, S202). In this way when the shift step of the subtransmission is selected on the low speed side, compared with the case when the shift step is selected on the high vehicle speed side, the threshold value Vth is changed to the higher vehicle speed side. Hereby, in the low vehicle speed territory, the beginning of restraining process of engine output is limited, and even when a driver intentionally operates turning behavior while running on off-road or steep gradient using the low vehicle speed territory, engine output can be prevented from falling against the will of a driver.
