Abstract:

To provide a behind-the-ear hearing aid which enables a hearing aid wearer to easily estimate the position of a sound source in the front-back direction and can be more aesthetically satisfying when being worn.

A behind-the-ear hearing aid is used while being suitable for an ear of the human body and includes: a body including at least a first microphone 101F and a second microphone 101R for picking up ambient sound to generate an input signal and a signal processing means 102, that can be worn behind the ear, for generating an output signal on the basis of the input signal; and a receiver 103 for reproducing output sound on the basis of the output signal. Furthermore, the first microphone 101F, the second microphone 101R and the receiver 103 are constituted of separate members. When the body is worn behind the ear, the first microphone 101F is disposed in an opening of an internal auditory meatus and a concha 904, the second microphone 101R is disposed in a rear portion of the concha, and the receiver 103 is disposed inside an external auditory meatus.
