To provide a bell-and-spigot joint capable of connecting without generating a flaw in a stop water surface of a pipe to surely display a stop water effect even when an internal water pressure is stopped, when a connected pipe is flatted, when a pipe end of the connected pipe is not properly cut to a right angle, when bending stress is applied to the connected pipe etc.

In this bell-and-spigot joint, consisting of an outer cylinder part, a lock ring mounted in an inner side of the outer cylinder part, a press ring used as necessary, and an inner cylinder part fixed to a joint main unit to be provided with a stop water ring in an external peripheral part to connect a spigot pipe and the joint in a connected pipe between the above lock ring and stop water ring, the connected pipe is formed so as to be interposition mounted by the stop water ring, an inner wall of the outer cylinder part, an inner wall of the joint deep part, and a retainer ring or the lock ring.
