PURPOSE: To ensure that pliability, resistance to heat, oil, chemical, ozone, pressure and coldness are improved by using an elastomer composition containing a specific quantity of acrylate copolymer rubber which contains copolyester elastomer or copolyamide elastomer and an epoxy group.
CONSTITUTION: A thermally plastic elastomer composition used for the preparation of the subject bellows-type part consists of 30 to 90wt.% of thermally plastic copolyester elastomer or thermally plastic copolyamide elastomer, and 70 to 10wt.% of (metha) crylate copolymer which contains an epoxy group and/or a carboxylic group. This elastomer composition is obtained by mixing an elastomer component and a rubber component in a fusion state. Further, the composition is used with the concurrent action to allow the composition to come in contact with a gaseous or liquid-type fluid. In addition, the composition has 10 to 100MPa of modulus of bend elasticity in the bellows-type part, and should preferably have 60 to 300MPa of modulus of bend elasticity in the intermediate tubular part.
