This belt for connecting sheets is obtained by weaving e.g. synthetic fiber yarns as warps (base warps) 3 and wefts 4, and forming holes for inserting couplers at preferred lengthwise intervals in the more external part than the joint one arranged along the one lengthwise side part of the belt to be joined with the edge part of the sheet, in which fibers as warps 7 having two or more times the strength of the base warps 3-forming synthetic fibers are interweaved in the part between the holes and a selvage to be connected with a sheet.
