To provide a belt conveyer preventing the breakage of a driving source even if a load on a driving roller becomes overloaded.
The belt conveyer 1 comprises a conveyer main body 5 having the driving roller 7 and a carrying belt 2 turning around by rotations of the driving roller, and a driving means 21 rotating the driving roller 7. The driving means 21 has a driving rotation magnet element 26 rotating according to power from an electric motor 23, and a driven rotation magnet element 27 fixed at an axially end portion of the driving roller 7 and rotated by rotations of the driving rotation magnet element 26. The driving rotation magnet element 26 and the driven rotation magnet element 27 are positioned oppositely and close to each other through a slight interval.
