Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust a meander to correctly align a belt in a belt conveyor.SOLUTION: A belt conveyor automatic alignment device comprises a revolving stand, which is disposed under a carrier side belt in a belt conveyor A, via a support shaft protruding upward, and which rotates on a plane. The revolving stand supports one or more carrier rollers 1 supporting a back surface of the carrier side belt. A freely rotatable conic roller 9 is provided to outside an outer end of each of the carrier rollers on both sides so that the meandering carrier side belt may cause its side edge to run on the conic roller to rotate. Power generating means B is provided in the conic roller to generate power when the conic roller rotates. Furthermore, action means is provided, in response to reception of a signal associated with the power generation by the power generating means, to act on the revolving stand to forcibly revolve to a direction for correcting the meandering of the belt in a cooperative manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
