PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyor device for carrying low-temperature foods that eliminates the need for cooling an entire processing room and can control the quality and hygiene of foods without being affected by an environmental temperature by forming a refrigeration space only around a conveyor for processing and carrying low-temperature foods.
SOLUTION: A cold wind blowing port 4a and a suction port 4b are provided along a carrying direction S of a belt conveyor 2 for carrying low-temperature foods so that they face each other at both left and right sides while sandwiching the belt conveyor 2. A cooling part is provided at a space that is sandwiched by the upper and lower levels of the belt conveyor 2. Cold wind that is cooled by the cooling part is blown to the cold wind blowing port 4a, is emitted to the upper surface of the belt conveyor 2, and is sucked from the suction port 4b, thus circulating the cold air and hence creating a refrigeration space on the surface of the belt conveyor 2 and at the same time cooling the rear surface of the belt conveyor 2 to a specific temperature.
