Abstract:
To prevent a carrying capacity from being reduced by facilitating and making it safer to get on and off a moving pavement.
A belt 3 for conveyance is formed of a specified extendable elastic body, and endlessly suspended from drive rollers 6 disposed at specified intervals. The belt 3 for conveyance is engaged with the drive rollers 6 so that a slippage does not occur therebetween, and formed so that the belt can be run. The endless belt 3 for conveyance is formed so that a running speed is slow at a platform part and gradually accelerated or decelerated at the other parts to drivingly running the belt 3 for conveyance.
