To provide a belt conveyor device capable of achieving a long service life of a belt and a drive device by controlling a position of a tension pulley of a carrier belt.
The carrier belt 55 is laid all over in order so as to return to a rear end pulley 53, a front end pulley 52, a drive auxiliary pulley 67, a drive pulley 65, a first tension pulley 69, a second tension pulley 73 and the rear end pulley 53, and the carrier belt 55 is constituted to be rotated by rotating the drive pulley 65 by a drive motor 66. A load of the carrier belt 55 is determined by an electric current supplied to the drive motor 66, and a pressure command signal is outputted to a pressure reducing valve 72 with a relief according to the determined load of the carrier belt 55, and the first tension pulley 69 is moved via a hydraulic cylinder 71 for tension, and the tension is applied in proportion to the load to the carrier belt 55.
