Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyor device comprising a lengthy endless belt made of many connected short belts for conveying heavy small articles such as a medal and a coin, which is configured to be able to smoothly feed the belt through a curved part by reducing friction resistance between the endless belt and a side wall body of a conveyance frame, which is generated when feeding the endless belt in a curved conveyance path along the side wall body.SOLUTION: A pressing rotary roller for pressing an endless belt against a return roller is arranged above a feed out-side return roller at an outgoing path side of a lengthy endless belt; the endless belt is pressure-welded to the return roller by pressing force of the pressing rotary roller so as to give high thrust in a belt feeding direction to short belts of the endless belt; the short belts which can be folded horizontally are connected to each other so as to give force, in a direction of separating from a center of curvature of a curve, to the endless belt at a curved part to reduce contact resistance between the endless belt and a side wall body of a conveyor frame, so that the belt can be smoothly fed through a curved passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
