Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a belt conveyor obtained by improving the frictional wheel type driving device of a carrying belt.
CONSTITUTION: A pivotally attaching shaft 36 fixedly arranged at a conveyor and pivotally attaching a pivot arm 30 in a rotatable manner is arranged on the side of a cross plane which is opposite to the rotational direction of a frictional wheel 25, namely on the left side of the crossing plane in the case of a clockwise frictional wheel and on the right side of the crossing plane in the case of a counterclockwise frictional wheel, at the time of looking based on the crossing plane passing through the rotation axis of the wheel 25 and that of a pressure resistance roller 18. Then, the wheel 25 is supported by the arm 30 so as to vary press-fitting force in proportion to the variation of force in a peripheral direction which should be transmitted for driving the carrying belt with respect to the carrying belt 1.
