To provide a belt for an electrophotographic device which have a high performance elastic layer and is excellent in flexibility and durability, and a method for manufacturing the same.
The belt for the electrophotographic device has a multilayered structure which includes at least a core body layer and an elastic layer. The core body layer is formed by a centrifugal molding method from polyurethane resin produced by a reaction with a polyol compound, a low molecule aromatic compound which has a chlorine group and two or more amino groups on the same aromatic ring and a two and three functional aliphatic isocyanate compound. The elastic layer is formed by the centrifugal molding method from the polyurethane resin produced by the reaction with the polyol compound whose number of average functional groups is 2 to 3 and the isocyanate compound.
