A belt guide is composed of a web 12 and two edge parts 13, 14 which are mutually adjacent at their ends, and has a yoke element 11 which can be fixed to a part of a car body, and a bearing shaft 15 is erected between the ends of two edge parts 13, 14, and a guide roller 16 is supported on the bearing shaft 15 so as to be rotatable centering around a rotary shaft 22. The length of the guide roller 16 at least corresponds to the width of a belt guided on it. The yoke element 11 is made of the casting of aluminum or its alloy, and the guide roller 16 is cylindrically formed at least in both its end domains.
