To provide a belt-like conductive member which is free of occurrence of a change in the modulus of extension of a belt and a slip to be caused between a belt and a driving roll when the belt is stretched over a plurality of the rolls including the driving roll within an image forming apparatus and is improved in transfer uniformity of a developer, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same, and an image forming apparatus equipped with the belt-like conductive member.
The belt-like conductive member constituted by forming at least an extreme surface layer 4 on the outer peripheral surface of an elastic body layer 2 is characterized in that the coefficient of friction of the outer peripheral surface of the belt-like conductive member is ≥0.1 to ≤0.3 and the coefficient of friction of the inner peripheral surface of the belt-like conductive member is ≥0.4 to ≤1.0. The method for manufacturing the same and the image forming apparatus equipped with the belt-like conductive member are also provided.
