Title:
BELT-LIKE LUMINOUS BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001306002
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a belt-like illumination device in which conductors will not kink and is easy to handle.

This belt-like luminous body is constituted by connecting a plurality of LEDs (light-emitting diodes) in parallel between the two conductors, which constitute a cathode and anode and are arranged in approximately parallel to form an LED light emitting band and coating this LED light-emitting band with a synthetic resin consisting of belt-like transparent polyvinyl chloride having a width broader than the LED light emitting band. The belt-like luminous body described is half rotatable and emits light on both side. There are also a constitution, in which the belt-like luminous body is made bendable by bringing the conductors closer to each other, a reflection sheet, a triangular sign or constitution as signs for sea rescue, etc., of a floating type provided with hermetic chambers.
