Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a thin plate-like work from being sucked up into contact with the sanding belt of a grinding head by constituting a belt sander machine with a pressing plate capable of being pressed to the work and a pressing drive device selectively controlling the pressing plate to the pressure contact position for pressing it to the thin plate-like work and the pressure noncontact position.
SOLUTION: When a tilt cylinder 45 is driven and a rod is extended, fitting pieces 42, 42 are rotated centering on a rocking shaft 44 against a spring 47, and a pressing plate 41 is switched to the lower tilt position to press a work to a material feeder side. The driving solenoid valve of the tilt cylinder 45 is switched synchronously with the drive of the material feeder, the air feed to the tilt cylinder 45 is stopped, the pressing plate 41 is returned to the horizontal position by a spring 47, and the pressing of the thin plate work to the material feeder side by the pressing plate 41 is released. The material feeder is driven, the material feeding force is applied, it is traveled in the tensile state, and the work is not floated against the suction force of a suction port 18 without the pressing force of the pressing plate 41.
