Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt sander improved in workability of grinding belt replacement.SOLUTION: A belt sander includes: a drive pulley 21 driven by a driving source; a follower pulley 22 arranged spaced apart from the drive pulley 21; energizing means for energizing the follower pulley 22 in a direction of separating from the drive pulley 21; an endless grinding belt 41 stretched between the drive pulley 21 and the follower pulley 22; and a cover 51 which can rotate to a position of covering the drive pulley 21 and a position of exposing the drive pulley 21. In the belt sander, the follower pulley 22 approaches the drive pulley 21 in linkage with rotation of the cover 51 from the position of covering the drive pulley 21 and the position of exposing the drive pulley 21.
