Abstract:
To provide a grooved belt for a shoe press improved in crack resistance near a shoe edge part.
This belt for a shoe press is composed by shallowing the depth of recessed grooves 5s in a region outside the machine width of the belt body 1 from the recessed grooves 5u in the region of the machine width and increasing the strength of the recessed grooves near shoe edge parts 6a and 6b so as to able to improve the crack resistance in the belt for the shoe press equipped with the recessed grooves in resin layers 3 and 4 on the surface on the felt side of the belt body 1.
