Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of components, and to simplify an assembling process.SOLUTION: A belt tensioner 10 for adding tension to a timing chain 50, is equipped with a pair of frames 11 assembled so as to bring inside surfaces 12 close to each other; a plurality of pairs of supporting holes 14 formed on the pair of frames 11, and having a form that the inside surfaces 12 are recessed; and a plurality of rolling bodies 20 rotatably attached between the pair of frames 11, while fitting both end portions with a pair of supporting holes 14.
