PURPOSE: To increase movement angle of a pivoted structure by arranging a fixed structure, a pivoted structure, a pulley which provides a tension to the belt installed in the pivoted structure for rotation about a rotational axis, and a spring assembly which applies a spring torque to the pivoted structure so as to decline it in a direction toward a second position.
CONSTITUTION: The pulley 78 of a belt tension 38 is operatively positioned with respect to the pivotal axis and rotational axis of the pivoted structure. The spring force of the spring 86 is reduced with the movement from the first position (dotted line) to the second position (ghost line) of the pivoted structure. Along with the separation of the pivoted structure from the first position, the lever arm increases at a decreasing rate until it becomes the longest length at the determined position between the mediate position (real line) and the second position. Consequently, along with the movement of the pivoted structure toward the second position, the lever arm decreases at a decreasing rate. Change of the torque is a result of the immediately reduced spring force, and is the change of the lever arm. By this manner, a static belt load is kept in a constant value.
