Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the water resistance of a belt tensioning body made of glass cord.
CONSTITUTION: A first coating layer 3 mainly comprising the initial condensate of resorcin-formalin and latex, or the first coating layer 3 comprising rubber cement is formed on the surface of the glass fiber material 2 forming the glass cord 4, and a second coating layer 5 mainly comprising the resin is formed on the surface of the glass cord 4.
