Abstract:
To provide a belt-type continuously variable transmission, improving durability, by appropriately receiving axial thrust which is received by a variable pulley from a belt.
In the belt-type continuously variable transmission 1, a primary pulley 10 is housed in a case 3, and a sliding sheave 12 is moved in an axial direction to change a groove width of a belt groove 18. The primary pulley 10 is constituted by combining a fixed sheave 11 and the sliding sheave 12 so that the belt groove 18 is formed therebetween. A stopper 2 which prevents movement of the sliding sheave 12 in a direction enlarging the groove width and is brought into contact with the sliding sheave to give the groove width the maximum value, is provided in the case 3.
