Abstract:
To provide a belt-type continuously variable transmission which can suppress a fall of a pin and a link of a chain belt without complicating a constitution of the chain belt, and can reduce a member cost and a processing cost.SOLUTION: A belt-type continuously variable transmission 1 has a pair of pulleys 3, 5 for continuously changing a gear change ratio by continuously changing a winding radius of a belt 6, and a hydraulic actuator 20 for changing a belt grip force so as to avoid the generation of a slide between the pair of pulleys 3, 5 and a belt 6. The transmission comprises: a tensioner 24 for imparting tension to the chain belt 6 by pressing a chord part 6a of the chain belt 6; and a tension adjust mechanism 27 for reducing a pressing force of the tensioner 24 for pressing the chain belt when the belt grip force is larger than a prescribed value to a force smaller than the pressing force in the case that the belt grip force is smaller than the prescribed value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
