Abstract:
To improve the durability of ball bearings in a belt type power transmission device constituted by mounting a pulley 11, around which a V-ribbed belt 12 with a plurality of ribs 12a-12d wrapped, to a rotating shaft 7 journaled by at least two ball bearings 5, 6 so that a belt winding ring body part 14 in the pulley is located at the ball bearing part.
At least one rib 12b out of the respective ribs of the V-ribbed belt 12 is located on or near the centerline 5a of a ball train in one ball bearing 5 out of the respective ball bearings, and this one rib 12b is formed in a higher dimension H1 than the other remaining ribs.
