Abstract:
To provide a technology capable of suppressing the string vibration of a belt wound between two pulleys on an input side and an output side without influencing a transmission ratio and the like, in a continuously variable transmission.SOLUTION: A belt 50 according to an embodiment of the present invention is equipped with an endless-shaped ring 52, and a plurality of elements 51 bound to the ring 52 while being aligned along the ring 52, and is wound around the pulleys 30 and 40 on an input side and an output side of a continuously variable transmission 1. The plurality of elements 51 respectively have gradients inclining to the opposite side to a traveling direction when viewed from the inside of the belt 50 on at least either one of a front end surface on a predetermined traveling direction side or a rear end surface on the opposite side to the traveling direction. The adjacent two elements 51 abut on each other between a starting end and a terminal of the gradient when viewed from the inside of the belt 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
