Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow great refraction of a fence in inclined cutting and to maintain a guiding function necessary for rectangular cutting.
SOLUTION: To the upper end of a right fence 19 in a fence 16, a movable fence 21 is journalled by means of a rod 25. The movable fence 21 is energized outward by means of a compression spring 26 arranged around a rod 25, and in the outermost position in which the movable fence 21 is energized while raised, receiving faces 27, 27, ... formed on the upper end face of the right fence 19 and contact faces 28, 28, ... formed on the lower end face of the movable fence 21 are brought into contact mutually, so that the movable fence 21 is maintained in the vertical position. On the other hand, when the movable fence 21 is slid against the energization, the receiving faces 27 and the contact faces 28 are separated from each other, so that the movable fence 21 can be folded down backward.
