Abstract:
PURPOSE: To always recover cutting chips with good dust collecting efficiency without damaging material to be cut by providing both a discharge port of cutting chips and a cylindrical body in which cutting chips are induced to the discharge port and an angle is arbitrarily changed in the front and rear directions, in the rear of a saw blade in the body.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of cutting, the scattering direction of cutting chips differs according to thickness of the material to be cut. In other words, in the case of the comparatively thin material W1 to be cut, cutting chips are scattered convergently in the direction shown by arrow a. Therefor, in the case shown by arrow a, a thumbscrew 18 is loosened and the lower end of a guide cylinder 17 is moved until the end of the rear of a guide passage 14. When the thumbscrew 18 is tightened, many cutting chips come in from an opening 19 and are induced till an elbow 10 by the guide cylinder 17 and collected in a dust collecting bag as they are. In such a way, in a position where the guide cylinder 17 is not brought into contact with the material to be cut, when the guide cylinder 17 is fitted to the direction in which cutting chips are concentrated, dust collection is efficiently performed without damaging the material to be cut.
