The bench circular saw 100 is equipped with: a base part 40 having a placement surface 1a on which a material 35 to be processed is placed; a holder part 70 disposed to the base part 40 and capable of being tilted around a tiltable shaft 4 substantially in parallel with the placement surface 1a; a circular saw part 12 held by the holder part 70 and capable of being oscillated around an oscillation shaft 11 substantially vertical to the tiltable shaft 4; a restricting mechanism 50 receiving power and restricting/allowing the tilt of the holder part 70 with respect to the base part 40; and an operating member 55 for restriction, giving the restricting mechanism 50 power. The operating member 55 for restriction is held by the holder part 70 so as to be arranged on a circular saw part 12 side with respect to the holder part 70.
