Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending apparatus for metal pipes which can bend a small-radius metal pipe at 180° even when the length of a straight-pipe part after bending is large.SOLUTION: A bending apparatus or metal pipes includes a clamp body gripping a linear metal pipe, a bending arm, which is arranged forward relative to a gripping position of the clamp body, grips the front part of a to-be-bent part of the metal pipe and is swingable, with a rotation axis located on one side-part side relative to the metal pipe as the center, heating means of heating the to-be-bent part, support means which is provided under the metal pipe and supports the clamp body so as to be movable in the axial direction of the metal pipe and movement means which is arranged under the metal pipe and in the region of the side-port side opposite to the rotation axis and moves the clamp body.
