Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending apparatus 10 that has high productivity, installation space-saving and good maintainability, and manufactures a bent member 35 of a steel pipe 17 with high dimension accuracy.SOLUTION: The bending apparatus comprises: a feeding mechanism 11 that feeds a steel pipe 17 in a longitudinal direction; a first supporting mechanism 12 that supports the steel pipe 17 while feeding the pipe; a heating mechanism 13 that heats a part or a whole of the steel pipe 17 to be fed; a cooling mechanism 14 that cools the part heated by the heating mechanism 13 in the steel pipe 17 to be fed; a second supporting mechanism 25 that imparts bending moment to the heated part in the steel pipe 17 so as to bend the steel pipe 17 into a desired shape by moving the steel pipe 17 to be fed to a two-dimensional or a three-dimensional direction while supporting at least a part of the steel pipe 17 to be fed; and a deformation preventing mechanism 16 that prevents deformation of the steel pipe 17. The feeding mechanism 11 is constituted of a first industrial robot 18, a vertical articulated robot with seven shafts.
