To provide a bending device capable of applying bending to an end of a metal plate without causing creases and accordingly achieving improvement of production efficiency since correction work for correcting the creases of the end is not required.

The bending device includes: a metal plate mounting part 2 for mounting and supporting a steel plate W; and a heating mechanism 20 movably arranged in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction and heating and bending the appropriate portions at the end of the steel plate W set on the metal plate mounting part 2 from front and rear sides. The heating mechanism 20 is composed of a heating part 21 at a front surface side mounted at a hand 17a of one six axis articulated robot 17 arranged on a gate shaped carriage 14 moving along the metal plate mounting part 2 and a heating part 22 at a rear surface side mounted at a hand 18a of the other six axis articulated robot 18.
